Takaoka foundry and Mino ware collaboration. Chic and charming teapot

Our new Takaoka casting iron teapots are charmingly colorful. The body is made using the lost-wax casting method. Each pot comes with a porcelain top. The pattern on each top, rectangle, heart and ginkgo, is a perfect yet unique complement to the pot. The strainer reaches deep towards the bottom thanks to its low and flat shape, so serving rather small amount of tea isn't a problem. The inside is coated with silicon, which is rust-resistant. It can withstand direct heat, provided a weak enough level such as would keep hot water warm.
