Edo Kiriko cufflinks
These Edo Kiriko cufflinks are the products realized through "LEXUS NEW TAKUMI (Artisan) PROJECT" in cooperation with a men's clothing tailor Eita Oguri, who had dealt with over 2000 cufflinks in his business, and a first-class craftsman of stone-fastened jewelry. The design based on a long year study for ideal cufflinks by Toru Horiguchi (Shuseki Ⅲ).The distinctive T-shaped post structure realizes easiness to put on and difficult to come off. To inlay the Kiriko glass to the pedestal part without using glue, a metal sculpting technique called Nanako applied. Nanako means fish roe and also a name of a traditional facet pattern for Edo Kiriko. Even among the stone setting technique for fixing jewelry to the base, advanced Nanako setting is a high precision method to the extent that it is difficult to remove even the craftsman who applied it.
Chrysanthemum pattern faceted on the center of about 15 mm in diameter has a meaning of wishes for happiness.
* The metal part of Cufflinks Ver.SHUSEKI 3 stamped with Horiguchi Kiriko logo as a proof of quality.
* Comes in a special paulownia wood box · a jewelry pouch is included.
