These rectangular appetizer plates, made of 100% pure tin, are available in two surface textures: “cloth” and “cracked ice.” Before arranging salad, sashimi, carpaccio, or any other cold food of your choice on it, refrigerate the plate for a minute or two. You’ll be amazed at how good chilled appetizers taste when served on pure tin. In addition, the metal’s antibacterial properties help keep food fresh. Pure tin is extremely malleable. If you like, you can bend up one side of the plate slightly and use the bent edge as a handle.
