Swordsmith - Shiro Kunimitsu

In the early Showa period, the sword forged by the first Shiro Kunimitsu's earned the title of "the sharpest sword in Japan", which was selected as one of the three most excellent katana swords, and was offered to the Emperor.

Omamori Gatana has a profound history and culture; when a child is born into the imperial family today, a ceremony called "Shiken no Gi" is held where a guardian sword is gifted to the child to wish for the child's healthy growth.

Omamori Gatana produced by Shiro Kunimitsu II, the swordsmith who is regarded as the finest craftsman that you can find today. To ward off evil and avert ill fate. A talisman that's perfect to decorate for a baby birth.

The swordsmith has put his heart and soul into creation of each sword.
